2 Months

This photo was obviously shot this morning, when I had a happy baby on my hands. Oh how quickly things change. We trooped out into the -11 degree weather as Dylan had his two month appointment today which means... shots! He has since been fussy. I don't think it helps that he has a cold as well. Poor baby. If he understood what it meant to get his way, he'd be milking it.

Weight: 10 lbs, 6 ounces

Height: 23 inches

They read off the percentiles this puts him at but I didn't pay close enough attention, at least not to remember them. I figure he's happy and healthy (despite this cold, which hopefully will go away soon) so I'm not worried. The downer is they want him to go back to Dartmouth for an echocardiogram since they still hear his heart murmer. The good news is we can wait until we get back from Tucson (this was questionable for a few minutes, but alls well that ends well).

Snow Day

The thing about Vermont is... it snows. I'm okay with that - provided I can stay inside. Luckily with Dylan here that's just what we do most of the days given his days consist of a little playtime, a lot of naptime and eating. Today we've been dumped on with a good foot so far of snow (okay, if it's not a foot it sure as heck feels like it). Poor Jeremy is off plowing Wilmington and is to come back and snowblow the drive. I swear he spends more time taking care of others than anything, but that's part of why I love him. In the meantime Dylan and I are sticking to staying inside and working on getting him to sleep in his pack and play or crib. So far, not so good.

Heads Up

For a few weeks now Dylan has been lifting his head. It was usually followed by a big flop as he tried to gain control. I'm proud to say he now has control, as evidenced below.
